After Hours is my spare-time blog, where I chronicle: everything I cook, bake, & think about, places I travel and live in, & everything in-between.

Growing up right outside of Washington D.C. prompted my love of: urbanity, diverse and multi-cultural people, crowded places, public transportation with all its ups and downs, FOOD, free museums, and awareness: a general sense of the world and everything going on in it.

From July 2013 until fall of 2014 I’ll be living and working in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Whether I am abroad or at home, people and their stories continue to inspire me. Recently I have grown interested in food culture, an extension of my love of community and connection.
